A Bonnet Island Estate Wedding | Issa & Chelsea

When I received Chelsea’s email about her and Issa’s private estate wedding, it resulted in me being quite giddy! I have always wanted to photograph a wedding at this gorgeous venue (even considered it for my own wedding). Who wouldn’t want to get married in a white boat house by the water!? It’s a great venue with a wonderful staff and incredible views. From the moment I met Issa & Chelsea, we hit it off. After our first phone call, I knew we would be a perfect fit.

Their Bonnet Island Estate wedding was the first of my season and I couldn’t have asked for a more joy-filled and exciting day

The first thing that was really special about the wedding was that Chelsea’s mom took the time to create all of their floral arrangements. Although a boathouse wedding is so beautiful in and of itself, the flowers were a special touch to the day. The flowers and decor were all soft shades of peaches, purples, blues and greens which fit the venue’s look, perfectly!

The second thing that was really special was when Chelsea’s dad got up and gave a speech during the reception. He reminisced about Chelsea & Issa’s relationship and how they met (I mean, how cute is it that Chelsea was Issa’s waitress at a restaurant!) As a result, there were lots of happy tears and laughter throughout. I love being able to capture the reactions and emotions that naturally happen throughout the day.

Finally, what a joy it was to capture Chelsea and Issa’s beautiful day! I hope to be back at this private island in the future to photograph more lovely weddings. Enjoy scrolling through their summer boat house wedding at this stunning private estate. It’s one of my favorites.
